As a Strategic partner, Eswatini Environment Authority (EEA) has combined efforts with the Institute of Waste Management Eswatini (IWME) and the International Solid Waste Association African Regional Chapter (ISWA ARC) to host a 2-days Waste Seminar themed: “Enhancing Sustainable Waste Management Practices & Circular Economy”. The Eswatini Waste Management and Circular Economy Seminar 2025 will be held at Esibayeni Lodge in Matsapha, Eswatini.
Join us as we fulfill our mandate to ensure that Eswatini’s development is environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable, by means of promoting sound environmental policies, practices and development, which meets appropriate national and international standards.
The event entails presentations and discussion panels from both international and local environment and waste management professionals. Some of the topics to be covered include; policy & regulation, extended producer responsibility, infrastructural development in waste management, accessible financing, waste diversion initiatives, as well transitioning from open dumpsites to controlled dumpsites, and hazardous waste management solutions, to mention the least. Be part of this historic event as we build-up from the ISWA World Congress 2024 which was hosted in Cape Town: sign-up and be capacitated in style.
