World Environment Day 2023 Commemoration.
Eswatini Environment Authority in partnership with Women Unlimited Eswatini commemorated World Environment Day 2023 under the campaign theme #BeatPlasticPollution at Mavuso Trade Centre on the 5th June. The symposium was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Hon. Moses Vilakati, representative of the Hon. Minister of Agriculture, UN RC representative and other valued national and international stakeholders.
Dr Wisdom Dlamini presented on “The Plastic Challenge – In Agriculture, Environment and Health sector”, Aaron Yang on “Solutions to waste management”, Taremwa Sam Rwabwehare from IWM Uganda on “Waste Management Lessons from Uganda”, Mpendulo Ginindza, President of the Institute of Waste Management South Africa on “Business investment in Waste Management”.
